Structure

Overall structure of 110~500kV SF6 gas current transformer supplied by our company is up-sidedown type, consisting of body, bushing and frame.

The body is placed at top of the product. The transformer body (primary and secondary windings) are placed inside of enclosure. Primary windings run through geometric center of secondary windings. Secondary windings are installed in earthed secondary windings screen. The enclosure of body with high potential is placed on the bushing.SF6 gas is used between primary and secondary windings as insulation medium. Leading-out wire of secondary windings is brought out through terminal of secondary terminal board in the frame.

The bushing is made of porcelain or silicon rubber compound hollow with high-strength and may bear high pressure without damage.

SF6 gas densometer is placed in frame and indicates internal gas pressure and refilling alarm.

Features of Performance

5.1 Excellent performance

The series product has advanced technology, comply with GB1208 & IEC60044-1“Current Transformer”,GB16847 & IEC60044-6“Technical Requirements of Protective Current Transformer for Transient Performance”

5.2 Large application range and high accuracy

Primary current is 200~4000A, while secondary current is 5A or 1A.

Accuracy class is 0.5, 0.5S, 0.2, 0.2S, 10P, 5P, TPY.

Secondary windings may be combined freely to meet various requirements from users.

5.3 Reliable insulation and current-carry ability

Electric field is distributed evenly and insulating medium is SF6 gas, Insulating performances can meet fully insulation coordination standard.

Primary windings are short and have large cross surface, and may bear large working current and short-time & peak withstand current (peak withstand current of 80~160kA, short-time withstand current of 40~63kA for 3s).

5.4 Perfect service reliability

High strength porcelain bushing has 6~7 times of rupture pressure which is that of product rated pressure(we also provide silicon rubber compound insulating hollow).

Because SF6 gas can be compressed, even if internal fault is occurred, the pressure increases slowly. At top of the product, there is a pressure-relief device. When internal pressure increases to 0.70~1.0MPa, the rupture disk will burst and there will not lead any explosion and fire.

Capacitive cone solid insulation is not applied on the product. So there is no leakage current of solid insulation and insulation deterioration due to loss of medium.

5.5 Minimum maintenance, lower leakage rate of SF6 gas

The product adopts a whole-sealed structure, using new type SF6 gas densometer, self-sealing valve adapter. Some of SF6 gas tubing systems are removed, which ensures a lower leakage of SF6 gas. The product is maintenance-free for 10 years.

5.6 Good anti-seismic performance

The anti-earthquake strength is 8 degree with min. dynamic safety coefficient of 2.6.

5.    It is important to note that the warranty does not cover damages resulting from improper use, mishandling, or normal wear and tear. Additionally, if any modifications or repairs are carried out by unauthorized personnel during the warranty period, the warranty may become void.
